PSOU Recruitment 2021 – Education Qualification

Name of the PostEducation Qualifications
Assistant Professor in
Computer Science and Sociology
  • Good academic record with at least 55% marks.
  • Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test.
  • The award of degree to candidates registered for the M.Phil./PhD programme prior to July 11, 2009.
  • The candidate has published two research papers from PhD work
System Administrator
  • M. Tech. (CSE) with 5 years experience. Or
  • B.Tech. (CSE)/ MCA/ M.Sc, DCA with 7 years experience. Or
  • B.Tech. (Non-CSE)/ M.Sc. (Physical Sciences) with 8 years experience. Or
  • PhD with 5 years post PhD experience.
Programmer
  • M.Sc. (IT)/ MCA/ B.Tech. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (Non CSE)/ M.Sc. (Physical Sciences)/ PGDCA with 1 or 2 years experience in computing.
Personal Assistant
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Experience of 5 years (after Graduation) or 2 years (after Masters Degree) as a Stenographer.
  • English/ Punjabi Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
  • Stenography speed of at least 100 wpm.
  • Good working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi and Punjabi along with good drafting skills.
  • Punjabi up to Matric Standard Punjabi.
Superintendent
  • Working/ Retired Superintendent Or
  • Should have 10 years of regular administrative experience.
Accountant
  • M.Com/ MBA (Finance) Or
  • B.com with CA/ ICWA (Inter) with experience of 2 years.
  • Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
Consultant-Marketing Coordinator
  • MBA (Marketing) with a computer background.
  • Working experience of 3 years in Marketing & Social media.
Stenographer
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Possesses at least 120 hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology. Or
  • Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC of Government of India.
  • 5 years of experience as stenotypist in University/ college/ educational institute.
  • Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

PSOU Salary

Appointed candidates will be paid the salary as per Notifications No.7/ 204/ 2015 – 4FP 1/ 60, dated 15.1.2015 and No. 7/ 204/2015-4FP 1/ 853793 dated 04.10.2016 and A.V.P.No: 7/ 131/ 2020 -3FP 1/ 647 dated 16.06.2021 of Govt. of Punjab Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-I Branch) Chandigarh and as amended from time to time (According to the official notification).

  • For SC/ ST and PWD – Rs. 590/-.
